Auckland, New Zealand's largest city is a cosmopolitan experience wrapped up in a fascinating water world that's dotted with more than 50 islands. Auckland's blend of harbour, islands, Polynesian culture and modern city environment has created a lifestyle ranked amongst the best in the world.

Coach Kirsten supported the idea of a day off after the team's brilliant showing in the ODI series.

"We got a 48-day tour. It is pretty much cricket all-in and all-out. You have one or two days between the games. We certainly encourage less practice time when you are on the road because you are in game time already. Mental freshness is more important," he said.
